First time order for our 2 street rescues, who are 14 and 18 lbs. We just always end up with bigger kitties and they aren't as big as Maine Coons but for some reason most commercial trees and accessories, toys, trees/beds, etc. are made for smaller sized kitties. Not all kitties are smaller sized and even when made commercially geared towards a larger cat, quality is often sacrificed. Cat Tree King is UNBELIEVABLY sturdy and solid, honestly the BEST and most well-made trees my hubby and I have ever seen---INCREDIBLY STOUT! We are in our 50's and have had plenty of kitties. Although we prefer real carpet, the faux plush used by Cat Tree King is of the highest quality and nice to the touch, not cheap at all and not what we expected. We were surprised and knew we were taking a chance when we initially ordered. One of our kitties has already been using both of them and in a matter of time, his younger brother will eventually figure it out and settle into one of the new trees/beds. They arrived timely and without damage, easy to put together per my hubby who is not mechanically inclined, lol, and good pricing especially when we bought them on a sale. My only request would be for a bit more variety with a few taller trees that could include these nice wide and deep seat/bed areas so that we can add a few more to different areas in our house. Even if you have smaller kitties, I'm absolutely sure they won't mind having the extra room to sprawl or share with a sibling or other fur friend. HIGHLY recommend this company and their products with a smooth transaction. I cannot speak for customer service since that was not needed for our purchase, but everything else was of SUPERIOR level.
